🧭 #GDCFEarningsSignal | July 30, 2026

On paper, Capgemini delivered.

The Numbers:

• Revenue: €12.08B — +11.3% CC
• Q2 growth: +11.6% CC
• Bookings: €12.60B | 1.04 book-to-bill
• Operating margin: 12.5%
• FY26 guidance raised to 8.5%–9.0% CC growth
• Headcount: 417,600
• Attrition: 18.6%

Strong growth. Raised guidance. Shares initially hesitated, then recovered.

But the part that caught my attention wasn’t the quarter.

It was how often Aiman Ezzat came back to “business outcomes.”

Clients are moving beyond isolated AI pilots toward end-to-end transformation with accountability for measurable results.

That is a significant shift in how this industry sells.

The commercial question

Capgemini already has a tenured global Chief Sales Officer: Jeroen Versteeg, in the role since 2021 and on the Group Executive Committee.

So the question is not who owns sales?

It is rather:

Is the sales organization evolving as quickly as the market?

Are traditional account executives being retrained to sell outcomes?

Are they adding external rainmakers who can structure and close net-new deals?

And how much of the growth is true net-new selling versus cross-sell into the combined Capgemini/WNS client base?

None of that really surfaced on the call.

Leadership Assessment

Aiman Ezzat and CFO @Nive Bhagat clearly knew the strategy and the numbers.

Both were precise. Both handled the Q&A well.

But the delivery remained highly operational and restrained relative to the strength of the story they had to tell.

That is something I continue to watch across GDCF leadership teams:

Knowing the strategy and selling the vision are not the same executive capability.

🧠 TRG Take

Capgemini’s outcome language independently reinforces a shift I have been researching for some time.

The New Account Opener (NAO) still matters.

But selling an enterprise transformation where the provider accepts accountability for measurable results requires something more.

I call that next evolution the “Outcome Underwriter” — a commercial leader capable of opening the relationship, orchestrating the enterprise, structuring the outcome and remaining accountable after signature.

Capgemini appears to know what clients want next.

Now I’m watching the talent they build around Jeroen Versteeg to sell it.
