When AI does the work, who owns the work?
📌 What Changed | Last 24 Hours
▪ HFS Research → Who owns the “agentic record”?
▪ Tech Mahindra + Rezolve Ai → Agentic commerce goes enterprise.
▪ ISG (Information Services Group) → The “agentic pyramid” emerges.
▪ NTT DATA → Recruiting a new kind of AI seller.
đź“‘ HFS | The Next Contract Fight?
AI agents are beginning to approve invoices, manage collections and make decisions inside outsourced finance operations.
But HFS Research raises a much bigger question:
Who owns the record of how—and why—the AI made those decisions?
HFS calls it the “agentic record.”
If that intelligence resides on the provider’s platform, the client may see the outcome without owning the underlying decision history.
That creates questions around:
IP
auditability
governance
liability
data ownership
contract renewals
The next generation of GDCF contracts may need to define more than people, SLAs and outcomes.
They may have to define who owns what the AI learns and creates while doing the work.
🤝 Tech Mahindra + Rezolve AI | Relationships Still Matter
Tech Mahindra and Rezolve Ai announced a global alliance to take agentic commerce into enterprise production.
Rezolve brings the technology.
Tech Mahindra brings 1,100+ clients, 146,000+ professionals and operations across 90 countries.
But the asset that caught my attention was how Rezolve described what Tech Mahindra brings:
trusted enterprise relationships + industry expertise + the ability to put technology into production.
As AI technology becomes more accessible, those capabilities don’t necessarily become less valuable.
Technology can scale faster than trust.
🤖 ISG | The Talent Pyramid Is Changing
ISG (Information Services Group) describes an emerging “agentic pyramid.”
Instead of layers of people underneath senior employees, people may increasingly manage layers of AI agents.
But validating the work still requires:
context
judgment
experience
That is a significant talent signal.
AI may compress parts of the traditional pyramid while increasing the premium on the people capable of directing, validating and taking responsibility for the work.
đź‘” NTT DATA | Recruiting the Next Seller
NTT DATA is recruiting a Head of AI Go-to-Market DACH.
Look at the specification:
C-suite relationships.
Opportunity shaping.
AI transformation.
Business cases.
Value propositions.
What interests me…
The technology is changing.
So is the seller required to sell it.
🧠The Recruiting Guy Take
We are spending a lot of time asking what AI will do to headcount.
I am interested in what AI does to the people who remain.
âť“ Question of the Day
If AI changes the work, are you changing who you recruit to sell it?
