AI grows. Headcount shrinks. What happens to revenue?
📌 The Week in Review
▪ CI&T delivered 21.9% organic growth in Q2.
▪ Bechtle grew revenue 16.5% and raised its 2026 outlook.
▪ Globant’s Glob.AI ARR jumped 61% QoQ as it pushes output- and consumption-based pricing.

▪ Nagarro grew Q2 revenue 2% but EBITDA increased 23.9%.
▪ IBM + OpenAI are creating dedicated FDE teams.

📊 Five Earnings. Five Different Signals.
This week gave us a useful test of the AI-deflation thesis.
CI&T and Bechtle: strong top-line growth.
Adesso SE: double-digit revenue with EBITDA growing faster.
Nagarro: only 2.0% revenue growth EBITDA increased 23.9%.
Globant: overall revenue essentially flat while Glob.AI ARR accelerated 61%.
There isn’t one answer yet.
But the relationship between labor, revenue and profit is becoming one of the most important numbers to watch across GDCFs.
⚙️ From Hours → Outcomes
Globant is explicitly offering AI Pods where clients can pay for outputs or consumption rather than hours.
HFS Research described services shifting from labor-led delivery toward Services-as-Software.
Different sources. Same structural question.
What replaces people × hours × rate when AI compresses the labor?
🤝 IBM + OpenAI | The Talent Model Changes
IBM is embedding OpenAI technology into IBM Consulting Advantage, training tens of thousands of consultants and creating dedicated Forward Deployed Expert teams.
That’s more than another AI partnership.
It’s another GDCF formalizing the talent required to move AI from demonstration to enterprise execution.
👔 Executive Moves
Dali Rajic → OpenAI CRO
The former Wiz President/COO takes over enterprise commercialization as OpenAI continues building its go-to-market organization.
Sarabdeep Narang → Globant CEO, Glob.AI
A former ServiceNow AI go-to-market leader now takes the top seat in Globant’s AI business.
Technology is changing quickly.
So are the executives being selected to commercialize it.
🧠 The Recruiting Guy Take
If AI allows GDCFs to produce more with fewer people, headcount becomes an overhead.
The premium shifts toward the people who can create demand, earn executive trust, architect outcomes and turn AI capability into revenue.
👀 Looking Ahead
After several earnings-heavy weeks, August 17–21 currently looks considerably quieter across the GDCF earnings calendar.
That makes the next signals worth watching: pricing, productivity, AI investment, operating-model redesign—and who GDCFs hire to lead and sell the transition.
❓ Question of the Day
If GDCFs need fewer people to produce more, which people become more valuable?
