The offshore model is moving up the value chain.
Friday, we looked at a GDCF labor model being squeezed by AI deflation and changing U.S. labor economics.
Now we are seeing what may replace it.

▪ PwC → 40K-person US/India joint venture
▪ Kyndryl → $350M healthcare acquisition closes
▪ Coforge → 46K employees mobilized around enterprise AI
▪ 👀 “Frontier” keeps spreading
🇮🇳 Operating Model Signal
PwC US Consulting and PwC India are creating a joint venture combining PwC India Consulting with PwC US Advisory’s India-based delivery teams — approximately 40,000 people.
PwC US will own 50.1%.
But operating control will sit with PwC India, led by current India Chair Sanjeev Krishan.
That is what caught my attention.
This is not simply moving more work offshore.
It puts consulting capability and offshore delivery inside the same operating structure — with India helping lead it.
The offshore model is moving from delivery capacity toward integrated global capability.
💲Capital Signal
Kyndryl completed its acquisition of Healthcare IT Leaders for up to $350M.
It adds healthcare-specific clinical, operational and workforce expertise to Kyndryl’s infrastructure and AI capabilities.
Kyndryl also temporarily paused share repurchases to preserve financial flexibility.
Capital is moving toward domain expertise.
🧑💼 Talent Signal
Coforge is bringing its 46,000 employees together with clients, hyperscalers and what it calls “frontier model providers” for TechCon 2026.
The objective: move enterprise AI from experimentation toward adoption.
But scaling AI capability and having the experience and judgment to deliver it are not the same thing.
And there is that word again…
Frontier.

Salesforce Dreamforce starts this week.
Watch Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, PwC and the broader ecosystem for evidence that Agentforce is moving from pilots into production and measurable outcomes.
